Bali United FC has made another significant move in the transfer market, announcing the signing of their new foreign midfielder, Kenzo Nambu, on Tuesday (2/7). As they gear up for the first training session ahead of the 2024/2025 season, the Serdadu Tridatu have added the Japanese midfielder to strengthen their squad.
Kenzo Nambu, the fifth foreign player to join Bali United this season, is set to fill the void left by midfielders Eber Bessa, Mohammed Rashid, Ramdani Lestaluhu, and Fadil, who have all departed the club. The 28-year-old midfielder brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record to the team.
Bali United CEO Yabes Tanuri expressed his excitement about the new signing. “Kenzo Nambu is one of the foreign players who already understands Indonesian football culture and has officially joined Bali United for the 2024/2025 season. His quality in the midfield is unquestionable, and the coaching staff sees him as a crucial addition for the new competitive season. We hope Kenzo Nambu can help us achieve the best results for Bali United,” said Yabes Tanuri.

Kenzo arrives with an impressive resume from PSM Makassar, where he played for the past two seasons. During his time with PSM, he made 74 appearances, scoring 23 goals and providing 5 assists across all competitions. One of his standout achievements was helping PSM Makassar clinch the Liga 1 title in the 2022/2023 season.
Before his stint in Indonesia, Kenzo also had experience playing in the Japanese and Thai leagues, making him a seasoned and versatile player. His addition to Bali United is expected to bring stability and new energy to the team’s midfield and attacking lines.
With Kenzo Nambu joining their ranks, Bali United is optimistic about maintaining their top performance and competing at the highest level in the upcoming 2024/2025 Liga 1 season. The management’s full support and Kenzo’s individual quality are anticipated to propel Bali United to even greater heights this season.
