Madura United is steadily solidifying their team composition ahead of the 2024/2025 season. After a major roster overhaul, Laskar Sapeh Kerrap has now bolstered their squad with a new addition. The latest recruit is Haudi Abdillah, a 31-year-old defender who previously played for Bali United.

Haudi Abdillah is known as a formidable player in central defense. Standing at 180 centimeters, he is adept at guarding his defensive area. Haudi has been with Bali United since the 2018/2019 season, playing a crucial role in their championship victories in Liga 1 during the 2018/2019 and 2021/2022 seasons.

“Haudi Abdillah, a senior player who has been with Bali United for quite some time, has been recruited to fill the defender position. He is replacing Fachruddin Aryanto, who has left the team,” said Annisa Zhafarina, CEO of PT PBMB.

Annisa Zhafarina explained that Haudi’s experience in football, especially at the Asian level, was a key reason for Madura United’s decision to sign him. “Haudi has played in Asian competitions. This was a major factor in our decision to recruit him,” Annisa said.

Haudi also played a significant part in Bali United’s consecutive Liga 1 victories. The hope is that Haudi can bring his impact to Madura United, especially as they compete in Asian tournaments.

The recruitment of the senior player, born in Denpasar on April 20, 1993, is part of Madura United’s preparations for the upcoming season. Haudi, who is a product of PSCS Cilacap and PPLP Salatiga (junior career), is expected to bring his international experience to strengthen Madura United.

With Haudi joining, a total of 13 players have been officially confirmed as part of the Madura United FC family for the next season. Prior to Haudi, 12 players had already been confirmed, including Dikri Yusron, Fawaid Ansori, Feby Ramzi Wirawan, Febri Triyanto, Ibrahim Sanjaya, Ilhamsyah, Kartika Vedhayanto Putra, Koko Ari Araya, M Riski Afrizal, Mike Aldo Maulidino, Yudha Editya Pratama, and Yustinus Uca.
